Hey folks,
Just wanted to let everyone know that Game Jolt have launched their achievements system in closed beta. They want their system to be the "best stinkin' achievements system", accessible on as many platforms as possible while being extremely easy to use.
I initiated the development of the Java API for the system and it is ready for you guys to test out. Not only am I looking for feedback on how easy you find the system, but Game Jolt are looking for Java developers to add some achievements (aka trophies) into their games.
You'll probably need to read
http://gamejolt.com/developers/achievements/ for some more information on how to get into the closed beta; fret not, they're lacking Java developers! Upon access to the closed beta system, you'll be able to add trophies into your games and you'll have a say in the development of new features such as high scores and data storage (for save state and level data, etc).
If you don't have a Game Jolt account, well, they're a friendly bunch!
