While discussing this thread it got clear, that the actual problem is very simple. And since the other thread got too long and nobody wants to read it anymore in future, I started this thread so that anybody that looks for this problem will quickly find the answer.

The problem: How to draw a semi-transparent/semi-translucent image (with several different alpha values between 0 and 255) onto another image?
(Note: Just two images! Not using main graphics context!)

Note:
  • Just two images! Not using main graphics context!
  • Sprites drawn using setDrawMode(Graphics.MODE_NORMAL);
