Hi there,
i got a lot of frustration while searching for a way to run my project in eclipse and export it at the same speed in a runnable version.
It took me some hours to find a solution and again some hours to create a (hopefully useful) tutorial to enable other people to benefit from my effort too.

In my tutorial i matched a lot of stuff together (and improved some stuff), some larger parts are taken from here (reference in my pdf too):
http://slick.javaunlimited.net/viewtopic.php?t=3996

Also i worked through the tutorial by myself to prove it works and added some screenshots during the tutorial which i put in the pdf.
Afterwards i used latex to put it all together (crap - did not use latex for some time ^^ please excuse some bad formatting with the pictures).

Please tell me if it was worth the effort ;)

Link to the Tutorial:

(I attached the tutorial as pdf at file-upload.net because pdf is not allowed as file extension and my file is too big -676kb instead of the allowed 256kb)

There's also http://www.lwjgl.org/wiki/index.php?tit ... with_Maven (disclaimer: i wrote that article) which covers starting with a maven project archetype and has a copy-paste POM that includes slick and mavennatives. Pandarr's POM is better though, mine doesn't make an assembly (I use one-jar for that, but I only have that working through SBT)

Note that due to bugs in the syntax hilighter plugin in lwjgl's wiki, you'll want to either view it with javascript off or use the "view source" link for the POM source and copy that and not the hilighted source.

When and if slick gets into maven central, it might be a good idea to make an archetype for it too.
