I've recieved and applied a big patch from "Void" that updates the particle system, configurable emitters and particle editor to allow linear interpolation based on a graph of values for certain properties (alpha, size, etc). This gives us way more flexible particle effects.
However, these changes were fairly large and may have side effects on particle systems defined/developed in the past. Please let me know if there are side effects.
Should you need to get back to the past version for webstarting use the version identifier "b75".
