We developed this approach long after we did that tower defense game, but yeah, it is possible to use it for that, we even thought about using it for a new (similar to a tower defense genre) game.

If you need more info or source code, I can temporary upload it to someplace.

Right now, we are working to upload all our game engine (and other utilities) source code to github (more info in the blog when it is uploaded)

The level selection screen is a great idea, dunno when we will have time to do it since we are thinking it join the slick contest :D.

I wonder: if you have a list of points, you can use some Ease Functions to repliace different motion than linear, right?

Yes you can but I don't see how that will help with the problem of two consecutive segments with a sharp angle.

Btw, I have updated the blog to show an image of this problem.

We updated the post again, put the links for Path and PathTraversal classes implementation.

Also, we put our game engine in github if you want to take a look at the monster.
