and read javadoc directly from source code

It's not a great answer, but if you check out Fizzy from here and run `ant' yourself, the javadoc will be generated.

I'd personally recommend just checking out the source package and just using the source instead of the jar, for development. (In eclipse this would just be checking out the package and "Add As Source Folder").
