This was originally for the 7 day roguelike competition, but ended up taking much longer. I'm releasing the code under the GPL, so take a look. I can't promise that it's any good.

Nice. I love roguelikes! This is pretty good, I couldn't get very far though even on easiest, hehe. Then again, I never was that great at roguelikes!

pretty sweet game, how do you heal?

Nice game.. especial for seven days.
But its very hard... I have no clue how I can survive more than four Zombies -including the use of bandages.

Healing is 'B' for bandage.

When I did the .02 pass, I may have made it too hard. I didn't really spend much time playtesting after that. I'm working on other stuff right now, but if enough people care, I'll take a look and see about balancing it out a bit better. Some of the "attributes" you get were crazy powerful, especially after you had 3-4 of them, so the game needs to get harder pretty quickly, so it's going to be a juggling act on balance, and I'm not sure I want to devote the time it's going to take. We'll see

And it took way longer than 7 days it was originally supposed to be for the competition, but I failed miserably and ended up taking more like 60 days (calendar time) to finish it, I had way too much going on IRL to do a 7 day game of any kind.
